buttorff_signSteve T. Buttorff graduated, Cum Laude, from Thomas M. Cooley School of Law in 2007.  Steve was admitted as a Member of the Pennsylvania Bar in 2007 and began his career in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania where he worked as Special Assistant for the Montgomery County Public Defender’s Office and provided services to private clients in various areas of the law.

In 2009, Steve began practicing in Central Pennsylvania and opened a private practice in Mifflinburg, Pennsylvania in the spring of 2010. In addition to his private practice, Steve is contracted by both the Snyder and Union County Public Defender’s Office where he represents individuals facing criminal charges that occurred in either Snyder or Union County.   In addition to his private practice, Steve also serves as President of the Union-Snyder County Bar Association.

Steve is involved in the local community as well.  He serves as a chairman of the Hartley Township Planning Commission, as a board member of the Mifflinburg Heritage and Revitalization Association, and as a board member of a local non-profit organization, Justin’s Smile.  Steve also manages the Mifflinburg Senior Legion baseball team, Post 410.

Steve’s other interests include camping, weight training, sports, hunting, gardening, and spending plenty of time with his wife, Heather, and daughter, Sophia.
