Steve T. Buttorff graduated, Cum Laude, from Thomas M. Cooley School of Law in 2007 and was admitted as a Member of the Pennsylvania Bar in November of 2007. Attorney Buttorff began his career in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania where he worked as Special Assistant for the Montgomery County Public Defender’s Office and provided services to private clients in various areas of the law.

In 2009, Attorney Buttorff moved back to his home town, and opened a private practice in Mifflinburg, Pennsylvania. In addition to his private practice, Steve is contracted by the Union County Public Defender’s Office and the Snyder County Public Defender’s Office where he represents individuals facing criminal charges alleged to have occurred in those counties.

Steve is involved in the local community as well.  He serves as Chairman of the Hartley Township Planning Commission and is an active member of the Buffalo Valley Church of the Brethren where serves in a leadership role.   Since 2011, Steve has also managed various youth sports teams in Mifflinburg/West End, and he currently manages his son’s Little League team.

Steve’s other interests include hunting, camping, sports, weightlifting, gardening, and spending plenty of time with his wife, Heather, daughter, Sophia and son, Isaac.
